Allison Williams is stepping into the podcasting world with a brand new project called Landlines, debuting June 9. The 37-year-old actress, best known for her roles in M3GAN and Girls, is teaming up with her lifelong friends Hope Kremer and Jaymie Oppenheim to bring their private conversations into the public sphere. New episodes will release every Monday via Headgum.
Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE, Williams shared her excitement about the new venture. “I have zero doubt that people will quickly feel like they relate to us in different ways,” she said. Landlines will feature candid discussions exploring the complexities of adulthood, parenting, relationships, aging, and personal growth.
The podcast was born from conversations Williams had during her pregnancy. “In this phase of life, I’ve leaned on my childhood friends the most,” she explained. “Two of my friends happen to be experts in the areas I kept asking about Jaymie is a therapist and Hope specializes in early childhood education.”

The first episode introduces the trio’s dynamic and sets the tone for the wide range of topics to come. “Some dialogues focus on parenting, while others touch on aging, hormones, and how we navigate conflict and resolution,” Williams noted. “We aimed for a vibrant mix, ensuring there’s something for everyone.”
Williams, who shares a three-year-old son named Arlo with fiancé Alexander Dreymon, admits she is still adjusting to the podcasting medium. Collaborating with Kremer and Oppenheim professionally has felt both surreal and deeply rewarding. “We’ve known each other forever from kindergarten through college and now parenting,” she said. “This feels like a natural continuation of our friendship.”
Despite Kremer and Oppenheim being new to the public spotlight, Williams praised their insights and poise. “They’ve adapted so quickly. In fact, I often find myself learning from them, especially about how to share personal stories thoughtfully.”
While the trio may share similar backgrounds, Williams emphasized their emotional perspectives differ, which she believes adds richness to their conversations. “By exploring how we each react to life’s experiences, we hope to connect with listeners on a personal level,” she said.
With the premiere of Landlines set for June 9, listeners can expect a heartfelt and thought-provoking podcast grounded in real-life friendship and shared growth.
