Kristen Bell and Adam Brody are set to captivate audiences once again as they return for the second season of the hit Netflix series Nobody Wants This.
Netflix officially announced that season two will premiere on October 23, 2025. The news was unveiled in front of a live audience at Netflix’s FYSEE L.A. Emmy event, held at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles. The event honored the breakout success of the show’s debut season.
Attendees were treated to a special screening of the Season 1 premiere and a live panel recording for Erin and Sara Foster’s podcast, The World’s First Podcast. Joining the event were series creator Erin Foster, executive producer Sara Foster, Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, and cast members Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn.
In the upcoming season, Bell reprises her role as an agnostic podcast host, while Brody returns as an unconventional rabbi. Together, their characters navigate the challenges of a budding romance complicated by quirky and often meddling family dynamics.
New cast members include Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, Sherry Cola, and Shiloh Berman. Notably, Leighton Meester, Brody’s real-life spouse, will make a special guest appearance, along with Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Arian Moayed.
The first season of Nobody Wants This was a global success. It spent six consecutive weeks on Netflix’s global top 10 list for English-language series and reached viewers in 89 countries.
Behind the scenes, the creative team is stacked with talent. Executive producers Erin and Sara Foster are joined by Kristen Bell, Steven Levitan, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, Bruce Eric Kaplan, Jenni Konner, and Nora Silver. The series is produced by 20th Television and led by showrunners Kaplan and Konner. Oly Obst also serves as an executive producer for 3Arts Entertainment.
