Gracie McGraw is setting the record straight about her identity following a recent post celebrating her queer sexuality. On Wednesday, June 4, Gracie, the daughter of country superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, took to Instagram Stories to address her statements shared a day earlier, reiterating her unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community.
“Let me be VERY clear here… I’ve been an out and proud queer, bisexual woman and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” the 28-year-old emphasized. “I have and will always be very vocal about supporting LGBTQIA+ rights and the community…” She continued, highlighting the challenges many face without family support in matters of sexuality or gender identity, “So many people out there don’t have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity, but just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you!!!” Gracie urged followers, “Check on your people and keep safe out there. Give love to each other. GM,” she concluded.
Earlier in the week, on Monday, June 2, she celebrated Pride month on Instagram Stories with a post urging, “Everyone get more gay now!” followed by enthusiastic exclamation marks. “Happy Freaking Pride,” she added with joy. Gracie underscored her passion by sharing a graphic stating: “Pride began as a riot led by Black & Brown trans activists.”

While Tim and Faith have remained silent about Gracie’s identity, Faith, 57, has shown public support for the LGBTQ+ community in the past, notably when fellow country star Chely Wright came out as a lesbian in 2010. In a delightful birthday tribute in May, Tim, 58, shared a nostalgic photo of Gracie, marking her 28th birthday. “Can’t believe this little bit turns 28 today!” he remarked warmly. “Happy birthday to our Gracie! You are a light in this world my sweet girl. So much heart, soul, respect and yes LOADS of talent!!! We hope you have the best day ever and know that you are loved beyond measure! I love you my little girl Dad.”
