Jordan "Jutes" Lutes and Demi Lovato attend the Los Angeles premiere of Hulu's 'Child Star' at NeueHouse Hollywood on September 12, 2024, in Hollywood, California.
Demi Lovato has stepped into a new chapter, officially tying the knot. The multifaceted singer and actress exchanged vows with fellow musician Jordan “Jutes” Lutes on a Sunday afternoon in a picturesque California setting, as reported by Vogue.
The origin of their romantic journey traces back to January 2022, when they crossed paths while crafting music for Lovato’s album Holy Fvck. Lutes notably contributed to co-writing her hits “Substance,” “Happy Ending,” and “City of Angels.”
In December 2023, Lutes popped the question, but the couple was in no hurry to dash to the altar. “We’re not trying to skip engagement to get right to wedding,” he conveyed to People magazine last year. “We’re just basking in it and soaking it up. We’ll be married forever. We just want to enjoy every step.”
The wedding was an epitome of elegance, with Lovato donning a pearl white Vivienne Westwood masterpiece. The gown, crafted from luxurious heavy silk satin and featuring a corset bodice, was a tribute to her enduring admiration for Westwood’s designs. Vogue further reported on her wardrobe transition into another exquisite Westwood creation for the reception.
Lovato, fresh off her directorial debut with the documentary Child Star, where she also appeared on screen, is set to dazzle next in Tow alongside Rose Byrne and Dominic Sessa. Meanwhile, her creative pursuits continue as she works on her forthcoming studio album.
