Beyonce.
Beyoncé’s mesmerizing red Moschino ensemble, adorned with 250,000 meticulously placed crystals, sparkles on stage. The outfit, a Moschino creation detailed with delicate tassels, is part of her stunning array of designer costumes worn throughout the Cowboy Carter Tour, which stretches into July.
The Grammy record-holder, now 43, is making headlines with her spectacular performances. In its opening weeks, the tour has amazed fans in Los Angeles and Chicago, with Beyoncé currently approaching the midpoint of her East Rutherford, N.J. run.
One standout moment saw her ignite the stage in a radiant red custom catsuit by Moschino. Inspired by a bandana trompe l’oeil design, the look was magnificently embellished with 223,200 light siam and 34,650 clear Swarovski crystals, along with 75,200 hand-crafted beaded tassels. A red cowboy hat and matching boots completed the electrifying ensemble.
Moschino gave fans a glimpse behind the scenes, sharing a TikTok and Instagram video revealing the painstaking process of hand-placing each crystal. The look was styled by Shiona Turini and brought to life by creative director Adrian Appiolaza.
Throughout Beyoncé’s nearly 210-minute spectacle—featuring over 35 chart-topping hits—Western fashion plays a central role. One of her many memorable looks included a white leather Mugler outfit, highlighted by a corseted bodysuit and matching chaps with 1,740 laser-cut fringes.
The tour has also become a family celebration. After Rumi, 7, debuted on her mother’s Cowboy Carter track “Protector,” she joined Beyoncé on stage, delighting the audience alongside her 13-year-old sister, Blue Ivy, who has become a featured backup dancer. Fans were also treated to rare home video footage of Rumi’s twin, Sir.
Beyoncé first teased the Cowboy Carter Tour back in February. The much-anticipated reveal came weeks after her electrifying Christmas Day Halftime performance during the NFL game streamed on Netflix—the first live showcase of her Cowboy Carter tracks since their March 2024 release.
Although fans eagerly anticipated either a new album or tour announcement, Beyoncé briefly postponed her news out of respect for those affected by January’s devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
