Scott Disick, renowned reality TV personality, opened up about what he is most grateful for while celebrating his 42nd birthday. Taking to Instagram, he posted a series of heartwarming photos. One standout image showed silver balloons arranged in his living room to spell “Happy Birthday Scott,” with his 10-year-old son Reign relaxing nearby on a white couch.
“Another birthday and another day to be grateful for my unbelievable children,” Disick captioned, expressing just how important fatherhood is to him.
Another snapshot featured Reign posing confidently beside a large car at sunset. “Raybo,” Disick affectionately captioned.
Disick, who shares three children—Penelope, 12, Mason, 15, and Reign—with ex-partner Kourtney Kardashian Barker, spoke candidly about his approach to dating and parenting on Khloe Kardashian’s podcast Khloe in Wonder Land.
When asked how he handles dating while raising kids, he responded, “Yeah, they ask me. They’d like me to be with somebody, I think. And they tell me that. But I say until I find the right person, I don’t want to bring anyone around unless it feels truly right.”
He added, “I do not want them to grow attached to someone who may not stay. But at the same time, I have to put myself out there or I might never meet anyone. They’re getting older, and soon they’ll be on their own.”
“For the next five, six, maybe seven years, I want my focus to be on them. I have the rest of my life to be a single guy. If I were in a relationship, I would still be a great dad, but I would also have to divide that focus.”
Khloe agreed, saying that her kids are her number one priority as well. “If I weren’t in this same position, I might think differently. But since I am, I totally get it. Right now, I do not care about dating. I just want to be present for my children.”
