Savannah Chrisley speaking at the press conference on May 30, 2025.
Savannah Chrisley is speaking out firmly and fearlessly to set the record straight. The reality television star, known not just for her on-screen presence but also for her unwavering devotion to family, took the stage at a press conference in Nashville on Friday, May 30, alongside her father Todd Chrisley, following his release from prison earlier that week. The emotional moment came just days after both Todd and Julie Chrisley were granted full pardons by President Donald Trump, ending a more than two-year sentence tied to convictions for tax evasion and bank fraud.
Savannah, now 27, used the spotlight to directly confront the speculation that has surrounded her parents’ legal redemption. She addressed swirling rumors head-on allegations suggesting her family had relied on inappropriate or unethical means to secure the pardons.

“The biggest misconception right now is that I either paid for a pardon or slept for one,” Savannah said bluntly. “If people truly understood the hours, the sacrifices, the exhaustion the sheer grit it took to be in the right room at the right time, they’d think twice.”
She went on to describe countless trips to Washington, D.C., undertaken without scheduled meetings or guarantees just hope, persistence, and a belief in timing. “I fought tooth and nail. I was tired. I was relentless. I asked, I pleaded, and I refused to take no for an answer.”
Pushing back against assumptions of privilege, she noted, “People think, ‘You’re white, you’re wealthy, you’re a celebrity you must’ve had an upper hand.’ But we didn’t. Everything was earned, every step was a battle.”
Savannah’s words were delivered with a mix of vulnerability and resolve, painting a portrait of a daughter who was unwilling to stand by as her family’s name was dragged through public doubt. “I wasn’t too proud to ask for help,” she concluded. “I believed in what I was fighting for and that made all the difference.”
