Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has once again embraced the quiet joy of fatherhood with the arrival of another daughter. “Thank you, God. Welcome, Aurora Rayne. May 22, 2025. God is great,” Prescott, 31, wrote in a heartfelt message on Instagram this past Saturday. He continued, expressing his love with simple sincerity, “I love you, Sarah Jane, and the family we’ve created.”
Earlier in May, Sarah Jane Ramos, also 31, gave birth to the couple’s second daughter. Sharing her joy, Ramos wrote, “Our sweet Aurora Rayne Prescott arrived right on schedule nine days ago. We’ve spent this time fully immersed in her presence. Grateful beyond measure, and so in love with the family we’ve become.”
Back in December 2024, Ramos had announced her pregnancy shortly after the couple welcomed their first daughter, MJ. Prescott shared his elation at the time by posting, “Count your blessings. Family of four,” offering a glimpse into his growing pride as a father. Ramos later revealed that she learned of her second pregnancy on September 15, 2024 the same day the Cowboys opened their season at home, marking a moment of serendipity for the couple.
In a candid conversation with Sports Illustrated, Ramos reflected on the meaning of raising daughters in today’s world. “It’s an extraordinary thing to be a woman in this time. Watching your children grow into themselves, feeling empowered and inspired by you, yet developing their own unique path that’s a gift,” she shared. Anticipating the future, she added, “It has been beautiful to witness Dak as a father. Watching him with MJ was moving, and now seeing him become a girl dad once again fills me with such hope. He is exactly the kind of father any girl would wish for.”
Ramos also spoke of the values she hopes to pass on. “Above all else, I want my daughters to understand that being a kind, thoughtful person will carry them far. That is what truly matters.”
The couple had always hoped to have children close in age, and their plans have unfolded with striking harmony. Their relationship first became public in November 2023. Celebrating her 30th birthday later that month, Ramos shared a note of gratitude: “Thankful for my family and friends who joined me in my new home. I truly have all that I could ever wish for, and something tells me this new chapter will be the best yet.” Prescott responded warmly, “So much to love in your words. Welcome to your thirties, my love.”
Shortly after, the couple shared the news of Ramos’s pregnancy with Aurora. Her maternity photos were accompanied by a caption that read, “A little piece of heaven sent to earth. Our greatest blessing. I look forward to raising a strong, confident, and beautiful daughter alongside you.”
