Kesha in December 2024; Jake Shears in June 2024.
Kesha, the pop sensation famous for hits and flamboyant stage presence, brought unmatched energy to the Mighty Hoopla festival in London’s Brockwell Park on June 1. Known for her bold performances and boundary-pushing style, the singer thrilled the crowd by teaming up with Scissor Sisters’ frontman Jake Shears for a surprise mashup of her 2011 anthem “We R Who We R” with Scissor Sisters’ 2012 party hit “Let’s Have a Kiki.”
This electrifying collaboration was a teaser for what’s to come in July when Kesha embarks on her highly anticipated Tits Out Tour across North America alongside Scissor Sisters. The tour will coincide with the release of her upcoming album titled “PERIOD,” launching July 4. The performance and upcoming plans were covered by music journalist Jack Irvin, whose work has appeared in outlets like Rolling Stone and MTV News.
Photos of Kesha’s powerful stage presence, captured by Gilbert Flores and Dave Benett, lit up social media as she appeared in a “Protect the Dolls” t-shirt, signaling her support for the transgender community. The performance featured U.K.-based LGBTQ+ collective Sink the Pink and culminated in a dynamic finale of “Let’s Have a Kiki.” Before this high-energy closer, Kesha delivered a heartfelt performance of “Praying” with the Trans Voices Choir, creating a moment that left the crowd inspired and energized.

The Tits Out Tour will kick off on July 1 at Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City and continue across major cities including Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, St. Louis, Nashville, Cincinnati, Toronto, New York, and Philadelphia. The tour is set to conclude on August 10 at Tampa’s MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre.
Speaking with Attitude, Kesha expressed her excitement for the tour. “I’m so thrilled. Anytime I’m having a kiki, I always play ‘Let’s Have a Kiki.’ It’s one of the greatest songs for a party, I think, that has ever been made,” she said. “So that means that every night on tour is going to be a kiki, and I’m happy.”
She also confirmed a special appearance during her Madison Square Garden performance. “The Vengaboys are going to be joining us at Madison Square Garden. This is going to be like a celebration of freedom, and I can’t wait for it.”
Fans eagerly awaiting new music can look forward to singles such as “Joyride,” “Delusional,” “Yippee-Ki-Yay,” and “Boy Crazy” from the upcoming album. With her signature charisma and inclusive spirit, Kesha is poised to shake up the pop scene once again.
