Trina Vega is heading back to school! Netflix has announced ‘Hollywood Arts,’ a spinoff of the beloved ‘Victorious’ series, set to premiere in 2026. Daniella Monet returns as Trina Vega, now a rather unqualified substitute teacher at her alma mater, where she grapples with and inspires a new wave of gifted students.
On Friday, October 24, Netflix unveiled behind-the-scenes shots alongside the principal cast for its 26-episode order. The show will debut on Netflix before heading to Nickelodeon and Paramount+, with production starting in Vancouver this month.
\\”Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do,\\” Monet shared. \\”Victorious was in a lot of ways life-changing for all of us; our cast is forever bonded by that experience, and to think that I have an opportunity to steward anything close to that is a feeling I can’t begin to describe.\\”

Hollywood Arts welcomes new faces including Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm, with Yvette Nicole Brown guest-starring.
The show’s synopsis describes Trina as a struggling actress who returns to Hollywood Arts as a substitute teacher. Here, she challenges and unexpectedly inspires a new generation of students at this elite performing arts institution.
The creative team includes Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin as showrunners, writers, and executive producers. Jonathan Judge joins them as director and executive producer, with Monet stepping in as an executive producer herself.
Reflecting on her roles, Monet expressed excitement about creating content through the lens of her diverse experience.
\\”As an actress, producer, and mom, I am so eager to create something we can all be proud to share with the world,\\” Monet added.

The show’s revival comes more than a decade after ‘Victorious’ ended in 2013. First airing in 2010, the original series ran for four seasons, featuring stars like Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, and Leon Thomas. ‘Hollywood Arts’ marks its second spinoff after ‘Sam & Cat.’
Netflix and Nickelodeon also delighted fans by sharing promo clips on Instagram, featuring Monet and Brown on set and a sneak peek of the Hollywood Arts campus. In a nod to the anticipation, Monet took to a playful paparazzi-themed video, holding signs that confirmed, \\”the rumors are true\\” and \\”Hollywood Arts is in production.\\”
