For the past several years, Rosie O’Donnell has embarked on a transformative health journey, revealing two years ago that her doctor prescribed her Mounjaro alongside Repatha.
Rosie O’Donnell showcased a significantly slimmer figure on Instagram on May 23.
“I can’t believe this is me now,” posted the renowned comedian.
Earlier, she noted in January 2023 that her doctor placed her on Mounjaro and Repatha, coupled with lifestyle changes like reducing sugar intake.
The 63-year-old, known for her tenure on The View, displayed her newer, slender physique, partially credited to Mounjaro—an increasingly popular drug among celebrities for weight loss—on Instagram Friday, May 23.
She posted a still from a recent stage video, donning dark pants and a light green sweater while engaging the audience.
“I can’t believe this is me now,” she captioned it, adding hashtags: #mounjaro, #weightloss, and #bodydismorphia.
Mounjaro, known pharmacologically as tirzepatide, is a weekly injectable for type 2 diabetes and weight reduction, administered in the thigh, stomach, or arm. Celebrities like Elon Musk, Meghan Trainor (with partner Daryl Sabara), and Sophia Umansky have all acclaimed this drug for its effects in recent months.
Having moved to Ireland recently with her 12-year-old child, Clay, O’Donnell shared an update on her TikTok in March about her weight journey:
“I’ve shed more weight. I’m taking Mounjaro for my diabetes, which consequentially led to weight loss.”
