\\”And through it all, GOD remains faithful,\\” Wendy, 41, expressed on Instagram on Sunday, October 19. \\”Thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time. We are forever gratefulđđž. Tune into @bravotv tonight for a new episode of #RHOP.\\”
In her post, Wendy also shared elegant photos of herself in a black gown with white collared straps and a matching hat, radiating strength amidst the controversy.
\\”Love youâ¤ď¸,\\” commented Wendy’s RHOP co-star Stacey Rusch, showing support in the comments.
The couple recently became the center of attention when they faced charges of insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and making false statements to police officers. These charges, confirmed by court documents obtained by Us Weekly, led to their arrest in Westminster, Maryland. They were released the following day after posting $50,000 bond each, as confirmed by a representative for the Carroll County Detention Center.
\\”Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits,\\” a representative for the couple expressed in a statement. \\”They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans, and colleagues. The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead.\\”
This situation came to light following a reported burglary at their home last year. After returning from a trip to Jamaica in 2024, they claimed that designer bags and jewelry were missing. However, the details raised suspicions.
The report indicated: \\”There was a screen with damage laying on the roof, and the window was not locked. To go in or out of that window, one has to step on the toilet. The toilet lid was down and had no debris on it. When Sheriffâs office personnel stepped onto the roof and back into the home, they tracked roof âgritâ back inside.â
The document also cited that their ADT system and ring camera had no record of motion inside the house while they were away, even though the couple monitored it remotely and acknowledged package deliveries through the camera.
Eddie Osefo filed claims with two insurance companies for $2,500 in property damage and a significant $450,000 for stolen items. They were granted a $25,380 settlement by Travelers Insurance, despite discrepancies. The missing gold diamond anniversary band that was initially included in an insurance claim was absent from subsequent claims.
Authorities later found photos of Wendy wearing the supposed stolen band after the burglary report. A search of their home uncovered at least 15 items that were claimed to be missing. According to documents, the investigation suggested the Osefos were \\”burdened by substantial debt.\\”
